I had a pretty long chat online with meixian yesterday evening regarding what bsp was about and how stressful triple science and the other subjects in year3 are. So now i think i know roughly what's happening in bsp. I shall edit what meixian said :D

"bsp is something like acc but it's more modern, it doesn't date back so long ago. it is divided into 3 parts: first part taught by lu han lin (more interesting) is about the geographical structure of china, its population policy and the positive and negative impacts, a little on climate, shape of china, then the structure like what's in the east and west, second part taught by feng yao hua is about the revolution and some japan stuff (WWII), the massacre in nanjing etc, third part about the great leap forward and korean war which is interesting. the scholarship means the government will subsidise for people who are interested in this study on the accord that must take as an A-level subject, though it's not examinable in year3 and 4 (take home assignments, and grades based on assignments); the subsidy is for all overseas immersion trip to US or china, and must stay in china for about a month. if you are really interested, go for the scholarship because it is more worth, or you will regret."

Omgosh, i cut the whole convo down into such a short paragraph, and though some info were omitted, this is roughly the main points. Must trust me, my summary rocks muahah! :D
